Prince Harry and Meghan Markle certainly don't have all the support from royal fans after they tied the knot last year. Critics don’t seem to run out of negative comments about the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

But despite all the hate that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are constantly receiving, they are still hopeful that people would be kind, especially during the Christmas season. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex posted a heartfelt message on Instagram about kindness, but they are not talking about being on the receiving end.

“With the festive holiday season upon us, it’s also a reminder to reflect on those in need – those who may feel lonely, hungry, homeless, or may be experiencing the holidays for the first time without loved ones,” the post from Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s official Instagram read. “It’s an important time of year to help those around you who may be less fortunate, or who would appreciate even the smallest act of kindness.”

The post then shared that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will be doing a “Twelve Days of Christmas” event, where they select twelve organizations to help with, such as Shelter, The Trussell Trust, Centrepoint, SSAFA, the Salvation Army, and Social Bite.

“Continuing our monthly tradition of highlighting accounts that do good, and inspired by the 'Twelve Days of Christmas' - we have selected twelve organizations caring for those in need - especially at this time of year,” it continued. “We would love to hear about the ones that inspire you - so please tell us and add your country’s flag!”

It seems that this post is what Prince Harry and Meghan Markle needed to get a positive vibe from royal fans. Netizens were very pleased after reading the post, and a lot of them praised the royal couple in the comments section.

“Keep up the great work,” one fan wrote. “Thank you for shining a light on these amazing organizations!” another one shared. “Thank you for encouraging us to help those who are in need,” a netizen commented.

One fan then hoped that haters of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle should not focus on the negative all the time, and realize that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are also doing good things. “At this time of year, it would be lovely if the haters could just stop for a moment and appreciate what they have rather than try to bring you down but, I guess some are miserable no matter what season we are in,” they wrote.
