Despite the Queen Elizabeth II death hoax, Her Majesty is fully alive and well. She is even preparing to host the world leaders for the upcoming NATO Summit on Tuesday, Dec. 3. Although it is a clear indication that the Monarch is in good health, how is her well-being today?
Rumors about the Queen's death circulated on social media over the weekend. Royal commentators and sources quickly dismissed the claims, per Express. Royal Central editor in chief Charlie Proctor even tweeted that the time of the year once again came that they had to dispel rumor about her passing.
"The Queen is not dead," he said. "She is alive & well and is very much looking forward to hosting President Trump and other world leaders at Buckingham Palace on Tuesday for the NATO reception."
President of the United States Donald Trump will arrive in the United Kingdom on Monday night before the summit takes place. Along with the POTUS, other world leaders will come to the Buckingham Palace for the NATO reception that Queen Elizabeth will host.
The leaders will then head to Downing Street for a second reception that British Prime Minister Boris Johnson will lead. On Wednesday, they will then go to the luxury Grove hotel on the outskirts for the official NATO summit.
This only shows that Queen Elizabeth is in good shape. Hence, there should be no cause for concern about her health. She reportedly stays in Buckingham Palace, preparing for the NATO visit.
She was even seen attending the opening of the Royal Philatelic Society's new headquarters in London last week. Here, she looked good, in high spirits, and well. She even talked and laughed with the event's hosts.
The only ailment that Queen Elizabeth recently suffered was flu. When she delivered the Queen's speech in October, she seemed to have a common cold. At the time, colds were common because of the weather.
At 93, Queen Elizabeth is remarkably in good shape. She even dealt with far worse health issues than the flu and the common cold. She underwent a cataract procedure last year and a minor operation on her right knee in 2003.
The said knee is reportedly troubling Queen Elizabeth again, but the leader of the royal family has been keeping on regardless. A palace source revealed that Her Majesty told her friends that her knees were playing up again. However, she didn't want to undergo another operation due to the time it would take to recover.
