Kate Middleton and Donald Trump met once again. Queen Elizabeth II hosted a reception at the Buckingham Palace on Tuesday for the world leaders in celebration of NATO's 70th anniversary. Among the attendees is Trump, and he, along with other world leaders, were received by the royal family, including Kate.

Though this is not the first time that the Duchess of Cambridge and Trump met, many are still thrilled to see how the two will react to the presence of each other. The last time that Trump was in the palace for a state banquet, Kate threw a subtle shade on the U.S President.

It has been known that Trump tweeted an insulting remark on Prince William's wife in the past. Back In 2012, when a French magazine published pictures of the Duchess sunbathing topless on a private family holiday, Kate and William decided to sue to publication for the intrusion of privacy. Then Trump, who wasn't a president at the time, appeared to blame Kate as to why her privacy has been invaded.

"Kate Middleton is great but she shouldn't be sunbathing in the nude - only herself to blame," he tweeted.

Trump's comment sparked outrage from the public. Netizens slammed the Apprentice star for his "creepy" point of view about the issue.

When Buckingham Palace hosted a state banquet in June for Trump and First Lady Melanie Trump, many believe that Kate somehow trolled the U.S. President by wearing the Lover's Knot tiara that is known to be a favorite of Princess Diana. Royal experts believed that by wearing Diana's tiara, Kate was able to convey her message of solidarity to the women in the royal family that have been maligned by Trump.

Aside from Kate and Meghan Markle, Diana has been the subject of snide remarks from Trump. Among the notable comment that the real estate mogul-turned-president had said about Diana was when he told Howard Stern in a 1997 interview that he could have had a relationship with Prince Charles' former wife but he would have taken her for a "check-up" first to make sure Diana hadn't contracted HIV while doing charity works. Trump made the remake just months after the Princess's tragic death.

So far, there were no photos of Donald Trump and Kate Middleton's interaction at the recent event at the palace. One thing is for sure though, both of them are in the same event as Kate has joined the Queen, Prince Charles, and Camilla in welcoming the world leaders.
