Queen Elizabeth II's annual Christmas speech is always something that the public looks forward to. But, this year, royal fans and supporters have become more excited to witness the broadcast. As it happens, the queen is said to probably include Princess Beatrice in her speech.

As per reports, the speech has always been written by Queen Elizabeth II herself. More often than not, it tackles several key details and events that happened for the past few months.

With 2019 being considered as the monarch's second or third "Annus horribilis" or "horrible year" throughout her reign, it is quite logical why both royal experts and fans are thrilled to hear and witness this year's Christmas broadcast.

According to Express UK, with all of the things that happened this year, royal correspondents believe that Queen Elizabeth II will not include the controversial issues surrounding the royal family. These largely include Prince Andrew's recent fallout due to his affiliations with the infamous Jeffrey Epstein.

Amid the York family's struggles in recent times, several royal experts were claiming that Queen Elizabeth II might "special mention" Princess Beatrice instead. This is because the Princess of York is now engaged to Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, which will be much more appropriate to include in her speech.

A few months ago, Princess Beatrice and Edoardo's engagement was officially announced after a week of the actual proposal. Although this was supposed to be a joyful moment for the royal family, especially to the York household, it was, unfortunately, outdid by the reemergence of Prince Andrew's controversial affiliation.

As added by The Sun UK, friends of the princess have been worrying over the royal's upcoming wedding. With all of the attention, not to mention, a negative one, focused on the Duke of York's controversies, it makes them feel sad for Princess Beatrice.

It was also shared that plans for the wedding have been interrupted by the said attention to the scandal. As reported, the newly engaged couple "canceled" their December 18 engagement party due to the fears of paparazzi swarming all over the venue upon Prince Andrew's arrival.

With these things at hand, it is quite understandable why royal experts and fans would also want Queen Elizabeth II to give a "special mention" to Princess Beatrice in the upcoming speech. Along with the princess' "happy news," many are also certain that the queen will likely include the birth of Archie Harrison in her Christmas broadcast.
