Unfortunately, homelessness is an issue that is still very common all around the world. Prince William recently shared on the Christmas BBC One special A Berry Merry Christmas that Prince George and Princess Charlotte have been asking him about homeless people.
The future king revealed that Prince George, 6, and Princess Charlotte, 4, would ask why the people they see sleeping in the streets couldn’t go home. At a very tender age, the young royals already show concern about homeless people, and Prince William would explain to them the situation.
Although they are privileged kids, Prince William and Kate Middleton always make sure that their children grow up to have good characters. After all, Prince George is the third in the line of succession to the British throne.
Meanwhile, Kate Middleton revealed that Prince Louis’ first word was not “mom.” Kids who are still learning to speak usually say “dad,” “mom,” “papa,” “mama” as their first word — but not Prince Louis.
The Duchess of Cambridge shared that Prince Louis’s first word was “Mary.” Kate Middleton then explained why this was so.
“One of Louis’ first words was ‘Mary’ because right at his height are all my cooking books in the kitchen bookshelf,” Kate Middleton told Mary Berry. “And children are really fascinated by faces, and your faces are all over your cooking books and he would say, ‘That’s Mary Berry’… so he would definitely recognize you if he saw you today.”
Prince William and Kate Middleton’s appearance on A Berry Merry Christmas was aired on December 16, and many believe that it brought back the mood of the people to watch the royal members on television. In fact, a lot of viewers fell in love with the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge during the Christmas special.
It can be recalled that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle received a lot of backlash following the release of Harry & Meghan: An African Journey back in October. Prince Andrew’s scandalous interview with BBC Newsnight also upsets a lot of people. His alleged involvement in convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein’s scandal was discussed on the show and many were not too pleased with it. The Prince eventually announced that he would be stepping away from his royal duties.
Fortunately, Prince William and Kate Middleton seemed to have saved the royal family in their recent TV appearance as they received a lot of positive comments.
