Christmas is just around the corner, and all royal fans are now waiting for the royal family's Christmas cards. This year, the Cambridges' much-awaited greeting card leaked when a recipient shared it on Twitter. As expected, the royal followers went into a frenzy upong seeing Kate Middleton, Prince William, and their kids' adorable snap.
A Royal Air Force member got the first dibs on the Christmas card from the Duchess of Cambridge herself, given that she is a patron of the RAF. The excited receiver posted the snap on Twitter and quickly went viral, though it was now taken down.
The snap featured the family in what looked-like their most "candid and casual" photo as they struck a pose on a vintage motorcycle sidecar at their Anmer Hall home. Kate Middleton and Prince William were all smiles as the latter held their youngest child, Prince Louis, in front of him while they were sitting on the bike.
Prince George and Prince Charlotte were standing next to them in the sidecar, beaming in front of the camera. Kate Middleton was next to her husband, holding one of the motorcycle's handlebars.
Last year, their holiday greeting saw the royals posing at their Anmer Hall home. Prince William and Kate Middleton also looked casual in their jeans, as well as Prince George. Matt Porteous took the photograph at the time, per Town and Country magazine. It was their first holiday as a family of four with Prince Louis' arrival in April 2018.
In 2017, they released a more formal photo taken by the Getty photographer Chris Jackson. It has been the royal family's tradition to send out holiday greetings. They have been doing this practice for decades that all royal fans truly love. However, it has yet to be announced when Prince William and Kate Middleton will officially release their Christmas snap this year.
According to People, the festive season is now in full swing for the royal family. The Cambridge family recently attended Queen Elizabeth II's annual Christmas lunch at Buckingham Palace.
Kate Middleton also helped a group of kids to pick Christmas trees for their schools. She also shared their family's Christmas tree, where her kids would find their Christmas gifts.
Farm owner Roger Brill revealed that Kate Middleton was looking for a tree that both dropped and didn't drop its needles, and the one with a pleasant smell. On Christmas Day, the future queen consort, together with Prince William and their kids would join Queen Elizabeth and the rest of the royal family in Sandringham.
