Jin may be the oldest member of BTS, but his ways are definitely making him worthy to be a part of the maknae line. In fact, he is being dubbed as the “fake maknae” (fake youngest) because of his very playful personality.
Also, Jin likes things that many may consider as child-like. For instance, he has a cute habit of holding plushies everywhere he goes and his favorite one is his BT21 character RJ. As for his favorite pillow, he also has one, which he carries around even during their trips abroad.
So why is this specific pillow his favorite? No, it’s not because he had it since his childhood or anything like that. But he carries this one striped pillow around because it was gifted to him by an ARMY. (Cue the UWUs).
Jin is so confident with his masculinity that he is not bothered when he does some not-so-manly things like carrying his favorite pillow. As a matter of fact, the BTS star has been spotted and photographed numerous times at the airport holding it.
He uses it during his plane rides and even adds it to the pillows in his hotel room. Because he likes the pillow so much, ARMYs called it “Seokjin’s favorite pillow.”
In their latest adventure to New Zealand in Bon Voyage Season 4, “Seokjin’s favorite pillow” made a cameo when all the boys were busy packing all their luggage. Jin didn’t forget to pack his favorite pillow even though his luggage didn’t have much space anymore. (Check out the clip here).
Meanwhile, when the BTS boys finally arrived at their hostel, it can be seen that Jin moved the pillows that come with the accommodation and used his striped pillow to sleep. It was this time when the members played the Ghost Leg game and the lucky one will get the best room, with a huge bed and a couple of pillows.
Although Jin was the lucky member who got the best room with two pillows, he didn’t use the pillows and used “Seokjin’s favorite pillow” instead. A plushie was also spotted to accompany him in his spacious bed. RM, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook, on the other hand, were stuck in smaller rooms and bunk beds with one pillow each.
It’s no secret that BTS appreciated their fans’ efforts and would show their gratitude by using the gifts. Just last month, V was spotted using a birthday gift that an ARMY gave him from two years ago.
