MALAYSIA(Business Times) - On the 21th of December, Cultural Performance Troupe of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region held performances themed "Beautiful Xinjiang" for Malaysian audience at Bangi Avenue Convention Centre (BACC) in Selangor, which marks end of a seven-day visit to Malaysia.

The performances kicked off in an enthusiastic dance "Colorful Xinjiang", followed by other wonderful cultural shows, including singing, dancing, acrobatics, musical instruments and other artistic activities. All the performances fully expressed the positive and optimistic attitude of people living in Xinjiang. At last, the artists sang Malaysian folk song Rasa Sayang in Malay.
"Next year will be the China-Malaysia Tourism Year," said Mohammad Abul Bashar, a professor of MAHSA university in Malaysia. "I want to travel to Xinjiang and discover a real and beautiful Xinjiang with my own eyes," he added.
"Xinjiang received about 200 million tourists in 2019, nearly 3 million of them were international tourists. We have three beauties in Xinjiang: beautiful scenery, delicious food and most importantly friendly people." Tang Tang, spokesman of Chinese embassy in Malaysia, said after the performances.
The Xinjiang Song and Dance Ensemble of Art Theatre was invited by the Chinese Embassy in Malaysia and supported by Xinjiang Culture and Tourism Department, to give touring performances for 7 days in Malaysia.
