It has been reported that a Friends reunion is in the works. Jennifer Aniston herself has confirmed that they were talks about reuniting with her fellow cast members. Now, rumors have it that Jen's ex-husband, Brad Pitt, will allegedly appear in Friends reunion as a love interest to the actress character, Rachel.

According to New Idea, the script for the series has leaked. The outlet first claimed that HBO Max executives have made everyone in the production, including its cast members, to sign a very tight confidentiality agreement which could see them being sued of $5 million if they leak any details of the reunion. But then, someone allegedly leaked the script.

Apparently, A-list guest stars who will appear in the reunion include George Clooney, Billy Crystal, Ben Stiller, Julia Roberts, Bruce Willis, and Brad Pitt. The Ad Astra actor will allegedly reprise his role as Will Colbert, the former high school classmate of Rachel (Aniston).

It can be recalled that Aniston's then-husband Brad Pitt appeared once during the entire 10-year run of the comedy series. In Season 8 Episode 9, titled "The One with the Rumor," it was revealed that Will and Ross (David Schwimmer) were part of an "I hate Rachel" club in high school.

The two hate Rachel so much that they got an exchange student from Thailand to join their club. Will revealed that they spread a rumor in high school that Rachel was a hermaphrodite. The episode aired in November 2001.

The source of New Idea also claimed there are rumors that Ross and Rachel will be on another break following marital woes. Could it be because of Will?

In addition, the leaked script also allegedly revealed that Monica (Courteney Cox) and Chandler's (Matthew Perry) daughter will be played by Cox's real-life daughter, Coco. The insider also claimed that none of the cast members know any details about their respective characters in the reunion project because they wouldn't read the script until a week before filming starts.

Gossip Cop doubted that the information that was revealed by the New Idea source is true. The site noted that respectable outlets such as Hollywood Reporter, Variety, and Deadline have written stories about the Friends reunion and they were consistent that it won't be a reboot in which the cast could reprise their characters.

Instead, the reunion special is expected to be a retrospective in which the cast and creators will share stories on how was it working on the show. This means Pitt would be involved in the show in any capacity.
