BT21 just drop its BT21 Universe Animation Episode 6 - Chimmy on YouTube and ARMYs were not ready for the emotional rollercoaster. After watching the whole thing, fans are convinced that the latest episode was about Jimin and V’s real-life friendship.

The video started quite cute, making ARMYs burst into UWUs when Chimmy (Jimin’s BT21 character) got out of the box, looking extremely squishy and fluffy. A few seconds later, everyone suddenly realized that it wasn’t a cute moment at all. Although Chimmy looked absolutely adorable, the beginning of the story was actually a sad one.

“One cold winter’s day, a box sat on the curb,” the narrator said. “‘Who am I? Where am I? Why was I abandoned?’” A confused Chimmy wondered.

Chimmy then discovered a harmonica inside the box, and he started to play some music with it. "Whenever Chimmy was lonely, Chimmy played the harmonica," the narrator shared. "Chimmy secretly wished someone would listen, but no one was there.”

That’s when Chimmy got the idea to make his own audience like a teddy bear, some trash, balloons, and he even created a couple of snowmen. However, these “audience” didn’t stay as long as he wanted them to.

In the end, a very sad Chimmy decided to play the harmonica alone. While doing so, Van, a space robot that protects BT21, and it's said to represent ARMY, was flying up in the sky and saw Chimmy alone. He looked at Chimmy and sped away.

Moments later, Chimmy looked on his right and saw Tata (V’s BT21 character), presumably sent by Van, listening intently to his performance. Tata then gave Chimmy a round of applause.

Chimmy rubbed his eyes to make sure that Tata wasn’t just a dream. After seeing that he was still right in front of him, Chimmy had sparkles in his eyes. “For the very first time, Chimmy learned the word ‘together,’” the narrator said.

For those who are aware of Jimin and V’s friendship, it is quite hard not to connect this BT21 episode to their actual lives. One fan took to Twitter to remind everyone why Jimin and V are called soulmates.

“Thinking about VMIN during high school when Jimin was new in Seoul and Taehyung introduced Jimin to his friends and told them to take care of him,” the ARMY wrote. “Taehyung made sure that people will be nice to Jimin and stopped anyone who tried to make fun of his accent.”
