The rumors about Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton's engagement have been long talked about by many fans and supporters of the couple. While they already quashed these allegations and set the stories straight countless times, these did not stop the reports to further develop the narrative.

Just this year alone, it seemingly appears that almost every month, there is a new headline alleging that the celebrity couple is already either married or engaged. There were even speculations that Gwen and Blake have been having struggles and challenges in getting married because of their previous ties with their former spouses.

But, amid all these claims, both of The Voice judges have kept their cool.

According to Daily Mail, Gwen Stefani even "poked fun" of the recent engagement rumors she and Blake Shelton are facing. During her latest performance on The Voice, she sang her 2017 track, My Gift is You, from the album You Make It Feel Like Christmas.

In the middle of her piece, many noticed that she stressed out the lyrics of the track that pertained to wedding rings. As sung by Gwen, she claimed that she don't need money, and not even a wedding ring. She also "flashed" her black-gloved hand on the camera showing her ringless finger.

With these actions of hers, fans and supporters of the couple are quite certain that the performance was one of Gwen Stefani's ways to make fun of the rumors and ultimately shutting it all down. Some sources also shared that she may have probably sung the track for her partner, Blake Shelton.

Whatever the case, though, one thing is certain: Gwen and Blake are not yet married nor engaged. No one knows yet when the two will tie the knot. Even so, previous statements made by the No Doubt singer revealed that they will certainly make it known to everyone when one of these things happens.

On Blake Shelton's part, it was reported recently that he feels "irritated" when he hears the engagement and wedding rumors. As it happens, he is not fond of being subjected to false claims.

He shared in an interview previously that the talks of proposals and weddings should be "private." So, it is only fitting as to why he feels annoyed every time there is a new development in the narrative of these rumors and speculations.

In the end, though, Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton seemingly ensured their fans that they will immediately let them know once they get engaged or married.
