Prince Charles and Duchess Camilla won the hearts of the public with their recently released Christmas cards. As it appears, their casual yet, stunning photo became a huge factor.
It is worth noting that, as the holiday season approaches, members of the British Royal Family send their respective annual Christmas cards to the public. In every card, a photo of the royals, along with a short message is included.
While it was a custom for the family to send their cards to their fans and supporters on the same schedule, this year's release had a different approach. As per reports, the Heir Apparent and his wife, the Duchess of Cornwall, sent their special Christmas card separated from the Cambridge and Sussex households.
According to Marie Claire, Prince Charles and Duchess Camilla normally send their annual cards at the same schedule as Kate Middleton and Prince William's and Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's. However, this was not the case for this year as the Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall officially released theirs ahead of the two households.
There was no explanation as to why the schedule was changed. However, People magazine asserted that it might be because of the recent headline revealing that Kate Middleton and Prince William's Christmas card was leaked days prior to the supposed schedule of release.
As it happened, a Royal Air Force member shared the photo inside the card on social media upon receiving his from the Duchess of Cambridge. It was noted that Kate Middleton is a patron of the RAF.
Although the social media post was deleted after it made the headlines, many are convinced that this played a role as to why the royal family did not release their respective cards on the same day.
Even so, fans and supporters did not focus too much on the agenda behind as they were reportedly "captured" and amazed by the photo of the senior royal couple.
As per the publication, Prince Charles and Duchess Camilla included a photo of them showing a casual and "hot" depiction of them during their official tour in Havana last March. It was said to be monumental given that it was the first time that the royal family officially visited Cuba.
In the picture, the royal couple is inside a vintage car as the Prince of Wales drives in the middle of the road, while the duchess waves and greets the fans. Some fans noted that the photo is not the usual or traditional Christmas photo anyone would see today, which makes it very "unique" and remarkable.
