Prince Charles and Princess Diana’s marriage was quite a scandal. Their train wreck union opened up a lot of people’s eyes that even the royal family can have a messy marriage.
Rumor has it that Prince Charles and Princess Diana’s older son Prince William and his wife Kate Middleton may repeat their marriage problems. Earlier this year, the Duke of Cambridge was allegedly cheating on his wife. Now, a new report revealed that fans are upset that this would ruin the royal couple’s marriage.
For those who are interested in the British Royal family, you probably have heard about Prince William and Kate Middleton’s best friend Rose Hanbury's alleged scandal. While all the cheating rumors have proved to be nothing but hot air, people couldn’t stop talking about it, and others were even convinced that the speculations were true.
In fact, a royal fan shared two photos that seemingly proved that Kate Middleton was heartbroken. One snap showed Kate Middleton standing beside Prince William, Prince Harry, and Meghan Markle. While the Duke of Cambridge, Duke and Duchess of Sussex had smiles on their faces, the Duchess of Cambridge appeared to look extremely sad and her eyes were puffy as well as if she’d been crying for hours or had sleepless nights.
The second photo showed Kate Middleton sitting alone, looking sad and lost. It also seemed that she was ready to burst into tears.
But even though the cheating rumored were never confirmed, royal fans believe that Kate Middleton still has to support Prince William even if they were true. Being the wife of the future king and the mother of his children, the Duchess of Cambridge is expected to keep her family intact.
“Catherine is required to support her husband in his role, and deal with the running of a household and staff,” a royal fan commented. “But most importantly she is responsible for her children’s behavior in public, and to prepare them for their Royal roles ahead of them, especially that of Prince George, a future King.”
Additionally, it is expected that Kate Middleton’s support should be unconditional. Therefore, even if Prince William had an affair, she should always be by his side.
“Next is support husband, children, and other royals and remain loyal forever even if your husband cheats on you,” another fan wrote. “Lastly, stay calm, keep your opinions to yourself and move on.”
Prince William, Kate Middleton, the rest of the Royal family, and Buckingham Palace have never confirmed nor denied the cheating rumors.
