Suga might be one of the shortest members of BTS but the group's main rapper also happens to be one of the most talented musicians in the industry today. Min Yoongi has just confirmed that he has been working on some new materials for Bangtan Sonyeondan's upcoming comeback in 2020. In addition to that, Suga has a major side project in the works. Amazingly, he revealed that the follow-up to his 2016 mixtape is currently being produced.

The good news was confirmed by Suga himself when he and the other members of BTS decided to go on V Live to do a New Year's countdown with Army at Korean Standard Time. RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook then shared their 2020 resolutions with their fans. While others had realistic plans (RM vowed to work out diligently and read more books), some had hilarious resolutions like fighting with BigHit Entertainment so the group could get more rest days (that's Jin for you). However, it was Min Yoongi's plans that had people understandably excited.

According to Suga, he promises to work out more in 2020. He also vowed to pick up English again (it is important to point out that he already understands and speaks English but he believes he needs more practice). Min Yoongi then revealed that he had been working on his second mixtape throughout 2019 and that its release was not possible during the year because of scheduling conflicts. The rapper explained that there were no issues on his part and he fully intends to release the new Agust D mixtape by 2020.

So what can fans expect in the second Agust D mixtape? For now, Suga claims that he needs to rewrite some of the lyrics as most of the songs were actually written in 2019. It is unclear why the lyrics need to be rewritten but it could mean that a lot has happened throughout the year and the songs no longer represent his current state of mind. Nevertheless, it's exciting to know that there will be a lot of new material from BTS this year.

Suga first adopted the alter ego Agust D when he decided to release the mixtape. Agust D is derived from Suga's name spelled backwards and DT, which represents his hometown Daegu Town. The self-titled mixtape was released on August 15, 2016 and comprises of 10 tracks that included a collaboration with singer Suran.
