Most of the fans believe that K-pop idols are very unrelatable since their lifestyle is totally different from regular people. They perform all over the world, they wear the most expensive clothes out there, they have extremely fat bank accounts, and more.
But on Bon Voyage Season 4 Episode 7, Jungkook reminded everyone that K-pop idols are just regular people once you take all the glitz and glamour out of the picture. You see, just like the rest of us, the BTS star also relies on YouTube for tutorials.
On Bon Voyage Season 4 Episode 6, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, and Jungkook went fishing and caught a couple of salmons. So in the latest episode, the boys decided to serve the fish that they caught themselves for dinner.
Since Jin and Suga are the best ones in the kitchen, they automatically started preparing the food, while the rest of the members peeled the garlic and set the table.
Suga cooked garlic shrimp (also known as gambas) and aglio olio pasta for his members. J-Hope toasted the bread for the gambas, and Jin tried to cut the salmon for sashimi.
But since this was the first time that Jin had to prepare a fish, he had a hard time making it. “It’s my first time prepping fish. I can’t tell if these are the bones or not,” he said. Suga agreed to Jin and said, “we're not experienced enough to slice the sashimi ourselves.”
Jungkook then went to the kitchen area to ask for an update on the sashimi. And when Jin asked him if he knows how to slice the salmon, Jungkook immediately grabbed his phone to look for a tutorial on YouTube.
“I’ll look it up and do it myself,” Jungkook said. After a few moments, the golden maknae can be seen sitting in the dining area, carefully watching a video on his mobile phone. “You need a good knife,” he told Jin.
Although Jin proudly shared that he’s doing better by the minute, he still allowed Jungkook to take over the cutting. Once it was his turn, the golden maknae once again proved why he got that title.
Thanks to the YouTube tutorial that he just watched, Jungkook cut the salmon in a much easier way than Jin did. “You start with the tail and go all the way up,” he said. Even Jin was impressed with the technique and exclaimed, “Oh! That’s how you scale it!” He also added, “Wow, this is the perfect job for Jungkook.” (Watch the clip here).
“What? Did Jungkook learn from the Internet?” J-Hope asked. Jin then replied, “he just learned from a YouTube video.”
