This has been a long time coming for the VIPs. BIGBANG has been absent from the K-pop world for quite a while now as G-Dragon, T.O.P, Taeyang, and Daesung temporarily left the industry to complete their mandatory enlistment.

Even though all the boys have been discharged from their military services for months, they appeared to have moved on to different things.T.O.P had always been a huge fan of art, but he usually balanced his time between art and music. However, for the past couple of months, his social media account is all about art and no music.

As for G-Dragon, he quickly focused his time on his love for fashion after his discharge. He collaborated with Nike and released a limited edition of PEACEMINUSONE x Nike Air Force 1 sneaker. As expected, it instantly sold out.

Taeyang, who is the only married member of BIGBANG, spent his time with his wife, Min Hyo Rin. And Daesung was busy clearing his name after the building that he owned was involved with controversy. He is recently cleared of illegal business suspicions.

Now, G-Dragon, T.O.P. Taeyang, and Daesung just confirmed that even though they don’t seem to be focusing on their music anymore, it doesn’t mean that they are not returning. So on January 3, BIGBANG shocked everyone when they ended their hiatus with a Coachella 2020 announcement.

G-Dragon, T.O.P. Taeyang, and Daesung are set to perform on Friday, April 10 and Friday, April 17. There is no update if BIGBANG will be releasing new songs or they will be performing their legendary hits like “Bang Bang Bang” and “Fantastic Baby.”

After learning about BIGBANG’s Coachella 2020 upcoming performance, some VIPs couldn’t help but think about Seungri. The former maknae of the group is currently dealing with numerous controversies, which led him to quit the YG Entertainment boy group.

“I’m happy for you guys, but as a baby VIP and as a Seungri stan, my heart hurts seeing this,” one fan wrote on Twitter. “As long as BIGBANG stays intact, there is always a place for Seungri to return to,” another one shared. “Seeing articles cropping Seungri out isn’t surprising though. For me, I might be really really happy and proud that they’re going to perform at Coachella, but it still hurts like hell. We miss you, Seungri. Y'all might’ve cropped him out on pic, but never in BB’s hear and history,” one VIP commented.
