Prince William has been one of the most photographed men in the world today. With his status as the second person in line to the throne, it is not surprising why the media and press always follow him wherever he goes.
But, fame and popularity have its downsides. Most of the time, privacy can be invaded, which results in complications and commotions.
Accordingly, it is understandable why such individuals, especially the royals, would feel that the media is a little bothersome. Not to mention, the implications of this were already seen in the case of Princess Diana. So, Prince William's act of giving the "middle finger" to the press might be acceptable for some.
As per Unilad UK, there was one photo of the Duke of Cambridge when he seemingly did the act toward the press and the crowd during his visit to St. Mary's Hospital in London. It was noted that this was when Kate Middleton gave birth to their third child, Prince Louis.
Upon the duke's approach to his car, he reportedly gave the "middle finger" to the crowd who were present in the location. This was caught on camera, which is why the photo became viral.
While many people were surprised by Prince William's action, it was immediately clarified that the future King was not "swearing" at that time." As revealed, he was giving the sign of number three to the press as he shared that he and Kate will now have three kids so that it will be "thrice the worry."
As added by other reports, the viral photo was only captured at an angle, which gave the illusion that he was giving everyone in front of him the middle finger. So, upon seeing the photos of his other angles, it was confirmed that he was giving the said sign of the number.
Quite obviously, this became a very "hilarious" moment for everyone, especially to Prince William and the rest of the Royal family.
According to Good Housekeeping, this was not the only time when the royals experienced a "goofy" and funny moment in terms of photos and clips. The publication released a set of photos that are deemed as the "most goofy" shots of the royals.
Most of these images appeared to be hilarious and goofy because they were all stolen shots taken in various events and engagements.
In the end, though, it is worth noting that the members of the Royal Family, especially those who are in line next to the throne, will not do anything that will embarrass them for the sake of the monarchy.
