The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince William and Kate Middleton have been married for almost a decade now. After dating for almost ten years since their university days, the two finally tied the knot in 2011 at Westminster Abbey.

While things have been quite great for the couple, not to mention, the public and the press seem to love them among all the young royal couples today, allegations and speculations are still apparent. In fact, the Duke of Cambridge just got into a huge controversy recently as he was subjected to an "affair allegation."

As reported, Prince William was allegedly romantically involved with Kate Middleton's close friend, Rose Hanbury. The speculations started a few months ago after the duchess' friend attended a royal event without her wedding ring.

It was also noted that Kate and Rose had a fallout earlier this year due to undisclosed reasons. No one knows for sure what happened between the two. Accordingly, these things became factors, which supported the claims of the press about the prince's involvement with Rose Hanbury.

However, no "overwhelming" evidence was given to the public. Also, many royal experts stated that the press and the media have been very "vicious" in terms of releasing headlines about the members of the royal family.

Although things seemingly appear to be well and great between Prince William and Kate Middleton, several fans and supporters of the couple were speculating that their marriage is still "on the rocks" many months after the start of the allegations.

According to Cheat Sheet, the reason behind was that the Duchess of Cambridge "shrugged off" her husband's "pat" on her back. This was caught on camera as this incident happened during their sit-down interview with Mary Berry for the special episode A Berry Royal Christmas.

A lot of people were surprised upon witnessing what happened on air. Some even shared the clip of the exact moment when Kate Middleton seemingly pulled her shoulders away from Prince William's hand.

While many believe that the Cambridge couple has not yet recovered from the affair allegations, the majority of the avid followers contended that the duchess did not actually move her shoulders back to escape the duke's touch. Instead, she moved her seat to properly accommodate herself in the chair.

Others, though, believe that Kate Middleton is just not a fan of too much "PDA," especially on television programs. So, this might be the reason why the "shoulder incident" happened.
