RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook made a lot of their fans happy with their songs, performances, appearances, and interactions. In return, ARMYs want happiness for the BTS boys as well.
When RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook smile, ARMYs smile. When BTS cry, their fans also cry with them. So when V’s smile dropped because of a cameraman, ARMYs were so upset that they demanded Big Hit to fire him for making the 24-year-old singer, songwriter, record producer, and actor sad.
In one of BTS’ concerts, the boys each held a banner to show their love and appreciation for the fans. RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, and Jungkook were already holding the banners on stage, while V was still interacting with the audience.
When V saw his members gathering in the center, he immediately joined them. Seeing the cameraman heading towards his direction, V knelt down, closed his eyes, made a peace sign, and smiled brightly. However, the cameraman had other things in mind.
The cameraman probably didn’t notice V’s cute gesture and proceeded to focus on Jungkook’s banner. When V opened his eyes and realized that the camera wasn’t on him, his smile quickly vanished.
What made this even more upsetting for the ARMYs is the fact that V was still hoping that the cameraman would film him as he stayed in that position and still doing that cute pose. His head even followed the cameraman to see if he was filming him — but he wasn’t. (Watch the clip here).
This quick moment broke a lot of ARMYs hearts. Now, fans are demanding Big Hit to fire the cameraman.
“The cameraman should be fired for making the baby’s smile drop,” one wrote on Twitter. “Big Hit, fire him! He made the baby’s smile drop. That’s not okay!” another one demanded. “Cameraman, you have one job!” one ARMY commented.
One fan even pointed out that this is not the first time that this happened. “They always do that even at their concert. They just filmed him for a while, Even in their son, he only has few lines. I hate it. Luckily, Taehyung just doesn’t mind it,” she said.
While these angry ARMYs have all the right to be upset, especially because they love V so much and they want nothing but pure happiness for him, there is still the big possibility that the cameraman didn’t do it on purpose. He was probably too busy trying to capture the words on the banner that he didn’t notice V posing on his left side.
