RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook are arguably seven of the busiest people in the world right now. The BTS boys are so in demand that they fly from one place to another to do appearances after appearances.
With that said, the BTS members usually spend the holidays, birthdays, and special occasions working. But to make V feel special on his birthday, Jin and J-Hope made sure to give him the spotlight in their recent public appearance.
RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook arrived at the airport on December 30, which is V's birthday. The BTS boys are departing to New York to return to Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve With Ryan Seacrest to kick-off 2020.
BTS is known for always waiting for each other when they are about to cross the street to go inside the airport so they could go altogether as a group. So while waiting for Jungkook to complete their lineup, the other boys stood there as the media took numerous shots of them.
Suddenly, J-Hope pointed at V and did the “Jazz hands” to highlight him from the rest. After seeing J-Hope’s gesture, Jin also did the same thing. V then bowed in front of the photographers, who possibly greeted him with a happy birthday. (Watch the clip here).
Although this gesture was simple, it surely meant a lot to V. It is certainly hard to spend most of his birthday on the plane, so this little highlight was a cute moment to remind him that he is truly loved by his members.
Meanwhile, for those who have been watching their airport departure videos, you probably have anticipated that Jin would be the only one who is not going to wear a mask, and Jimin would be the last member to complete the lineup.
While the part where Jin is the only BTS member who is not wearing a mask still stands true, Jimin was surprisingly fast and it was Jungkook who was late. This moment is so rare that many speculated that there is a reason behind Jimin’s punctuality and Jungkook’s tardiness.
A lot of fans are convinced that three of the members were trying to trick the media. After videos and photos of their airport departure were shared on social media, a lot of fans were confused if who was who. Many shared that Jimin looked like Jungkook while Suga and Jungkook looked like Jimin. Was this a trick?
Whatever the reason for their sudden fashion mix-up was, Jin and J-Hope tried to shift the attention to V by highlighting him with their “Jazz hands.”
