Prince William and Kate Middleton's marriage is once again rocked by the same scandalous rumor that plagued them last year. According to a tabloid story, the Duke of Cambridge, recently, made efforts to get in touch with the woman he, allegedly, had an affair with -- Rose Hanbury.

Globe published in its printed edition that Kate was furious to learn that her husband is, apparently, still in contact with his alleged mistress. The source said that Kate "exploded" at Prince William and demanded why he would humiliate her for keeping in touch with the woman he was supposed to have cut all ties with.

The source further shared that Kate felt "tortured" by her fears of Prince William's cheating. Worse, Kate reportedly found out that Prince William planned on sending a Christmas card to Hanbury last December, which led the Duke of Cambridge to profusely ask forgiveness from his wife.

That same month, tongues wagged when Kate seemingly brushed off Prince William's attempts to touch her arm during their Christmas special on television with culinary expert Mary Berry. The marriage of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge is apparently being ripped apart by this resurfacing crisis.

But, Globe's latest story could be contrived and fabricated as the Daily Mail reported, with photographs to boot, that Hanbury was recently seen with Kate. The two women attended church service in Sandringham on Sunday, Jan. 5, and the photos showed no animosity between them.

Curiously, Prince William was also with his wife and her friend, and even looked relaxed as they waved the crowd gathered outside of St. Mary Magdalene Church. Daily Mail further reported that Hanbury is going to join Prince William and Kate for her birthday celebration this January at Anmer Hall.

In March 2019, rumors surfaced that Kate and Hanbury had a falling out. Then, reports about the alleged affair between Prince William and Hanbury supposedly explained why they best friends are no longer talking.

Hanbury, Marchioness of Cholmondeley, is a long-time friend of the Prince William and Kate. She was, constantly, seen at social events and banquets at the palace. She and her husband, David Cholmondeley, live a few miles away from Prince William and Kate. Her husband was also among those who was at the church with the Cambridges last Sunday.

Meanwhile, it seems unusual for Prince William and Kate to be at church in Sandringham after the holidays. They were there to join Queen Elizabeth for her regular visits to St Mary Magdalene.
