The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, are now officially back in London. Earlier this week, they already made their first appearance when they visited various locations in the city including the Canada House.
It was reported that the royal couple met with High Commissioner Janice Charette to show their "appreciation" for the "warm welcome" they received during their recent stay in Canada. While the visit was "private," some sources revealed that they discussed several issues including "gender empowerment" and "homelessness."
As added by other publications, the Sussex couple also visited the exhibition headed by Canadian artist, Skawennati. But, before they headed to the main venue of their tour, it was revealed that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry first went to The Hubb Community Kitchen, wherein the duchess previously "collaborated" a project for the Grenfell Tower fire survivors.
According to Express UK, the general public was "happy" and glad to see the Duke and Duchess of Sussex after their almost two months of vacation in the United States and Canada. The same is also true for the royal couple as they were, reportedly, "excited" to get back to their royal duties.
Sources of the publication even noted that Meghan and Harry looked more "in love" as they seemingly can't get separated from each other during their recent trip. Although the show of their affection for each other was not that "intense," fans and supporters can still see how great the couple has become in recent times.
With all of the things that happened with Meghan Markle and Prince Harry in 2019, many individuals thought that their six-week leave from royal duties is just fitting. This would allow them to freshen up and get energized for the more "challenging" incoming year.
However, not all people agreed to this notion. As it happened, several royal followers and watchers slammed the Sussex couple for their decision to stay far away from the United Kingdom, especially during the holiday season.
Cheat Sheet, previously, claimed that this could "make" or "break" Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's future in the monarchy. The reason being is that while many people support them toward their decision, after receiving a huge backlash for their ITV documentary interview, running away from the press and the public may seem not a good choice.
Even so, the publication asserted that if they will be welcomed happily upon their return, then their time off from the eyes of the public is an effective solution, which apparently what happened on Tuesday, as per reports.
