Han Seungwoo will return to promotions with his VICTON bandmates once he gets rested. This is what his agency, Play M Entertainment, assured his fans following the disbandment of X1.

Rookie K-pop group X1 has disbanded after four months since their debut due to vote-rigging allegations on reality competition show Produce X 101 where the group was formed. Among the members that were affected by the disbandment was VICTON member Han Seungwoo.

Play M Entertainment announced that Han Seungwoo will be returning to promotions with VICTON members Kang Seungshik, Heo Chan, Im Sejun, Do Hanse, Choi Byungchan, Jung Subin but he will be taking time to rest first. The agency noted that the singer wasn't able to take a break in the past year as he competed at Produce X 101 and joined the promotion with his bandmates in X1.

The label said they will discuss with Seungwoo his future once he gets fully rested. Play M, however, did not give a specific time when the singer will return to promotions.

Meanwhile, Play M also vowed to take legal action on all malicious comments that directed on Han Seungwoo or the other members of VICTON. The agency thanked the fans and Swings Entertainment for all their support during Seungwoo's time with X1 and promised to make 2020 a better year for the singer and his fans.

Han Seungwoo debuted as a member of VICTON in November 2016. He is also the leader of the group. Seungwoo participated in Produce X 101 competition last year and finished third. He is supposed to spend two and a half years promoting with X1.

However, the entertainment agencies that manage the 11 members of X1 decided to disband the group earlier this week. The agencies failed to reach an agreement with CJ ENM, which managed the K-pop group.

X1 is composed of the winners of Produce X 101. They debut in August amidst allegations of vote manipulations. The group released their debut EP, Emergency: Quantum Leap, along with its lead single "Flash" under Swing Entertainment.

The group halted their promotions in November after the police investigation revealed that the show producers manipulated the results of the audience votes. The producers also allegedly accepted bribes from certain people to favor some trainees in the competition. One of the show's producers, who got arrested in November, also revealed that the results of all four seasons of Produce 101 were manipulated.
