Jimin and V are not called soulmates for nothing. The BTS boys have been friends before they became trainees in Big Hit Entertainment, and have maintained that close relationship until today.
In fact, Jimin and V have a special kind of bond that ARMYs created a ship name for them (VMin). And on Bon Voyage Season 4 Episode 8, the pair proved their amazing friendship once again.
BTS’ main chefs Jin and Suga went back home late after a failed fishing trip with Jungkook. And because of that, younger members Jimin and V decided to prepare their dinner.
“Jimin, are you confident?” Jin asked. “Of course. We’ll take care of it, so you can go rest,” Jimin replied while cutting some ingredients with V.
V then played a song from his phone as their background music for the cooking session. All of a sudden, Jimin and V pretended to be in a K-drama and instantly threw some lines.
“Where are we?” V asked. “It’s what you’ve always heard of. A fantasy world,” Jimin replied. As the wide-eyed V looked around in awe, Jimin continued, “Let’s conquer this new world together.”
VMin then pretended to be cutting something, that’s when Jungkook arrived in full confusion. But despite the golden maknae being there, V and Jimin continued with their fantasy K-drama.
“Ah! I found some peels,” V said. “We can sell them and become rich! Let’s go Taehyung!” Jimin added. Jungkook stood there for a few seconds and left. VMin then started running in place while laughing
The next scenes were not as comical as the first one, but Jimin and V maintained their role-playing as they kept doing the “actor voice” and extreme facial expressions. When Jungkook returned to the kitchen, he asked VMin, “What are you doing?” But Jimin, still with his “actor voice,” told him to go rest. However, the golden maknae ignored him and asked about the cucumber that he was cutting.
V answered that it was for bibimmyeon and Jungkook was confused about why Jimin was cutting it differently. That’s when V protected his soulmate and co-actor by telling Jungkook to go away. When Jungkook left, V then told Jimin that he “got rid of the intruder.” VMin shook hands and that was a wrap. (Watch the clip here).
