Taylor Swift is already a successful artist but she still wants to try acting. The "Lover" singer is thankful to be part of the musical Cats. But now, there have been rumors that Swift is disappointed in the poor review that the movie got from both fans and critics.

According to the National Enquirer, Swift can't believe that people have responded negatively to the movie. Apparently, Taylor is hoping that Cats would be her ticket to become a popular actress in Hollywood. Now, she is worried that the box-office turnout of the big screen musical could ruin her.

The "Shake It Off" hitmaker is allegedly so furious that she is threatening to fire anyone in her team who convinced her that it was a great project to launch her acting career. The source added that Swift is also convinced that producers might find her an unlucky charm because of Cats

"The people around her are walking on eggshells because they've never seen Taylor this upset before. She's blaming everyone for this dismal failure. Everything she's touched has turned to gold for her - until this. The claws are out!" the source said.

The insider said the singer is now thinking about using her next album as a distraction to stop the public from discussing the film. Fortunately, Taylor's boyfriend, Joe Alwyn, has stepped in and calmed down the "Bad Blood" singer.

Gossip Cop debunked all claims of the National Enquirer's source. It is true that Cats has received poor reviews and low turnout in the box office and Taylor could be unhappy for the result of the movie. However, the publication noted that the singer can't blame herself for it.

Taylor is not the lead actress in the film. It was her co-stars who received the criticisms and were being featured in memes and video clips that mock the movie. Swift is barely mentioned by critics.

The 30-year-old singer had a brief appearance in the movie as Bombalurina. She got praised for it and her songwriting contributions. In fact, the track "Beautiful Ghosts," which she sang and co-wrote, was nominated for Best Original Song at the Golden Globes.

In addition, Taylor had been honest with her thoughts about the movie. She admitted the "weirdness" of their movie but added that she had a great time doing her part in the film. Taylor said all she wanted was to put herself on the strange and intriguing world of Cats.
