Marla Maples and Donald Trump had a brief marriage after the now-United States President got a divorce with his first wife, Ivana Trump. It was alleged that the former model was the reason behind the divorce.

While many decades have already passed, reports about the president's previous marriages have been still making noise in recent times. It is not surprising, though, given that he is the leader of a country.

However, the majority of these reports are not pleasant. In fact, he has been receiving a lot of criticisms and objections, along with his current wife, Melania Trump.

These reports were shockingly obtained from his former wives. Just recently, Marla Maples was reported to previously share a few details about her marriage to the then-billionaire-mogul-turned-politician.

According to Elite Daily, the second wife of Donald Trump revealed in an interview with The Daily Telegraph in 1999 that he is not her "ideal husband." He was never the man she wanted to marry, Marla added.

Nevertheless, the fact is they were married for four years. Not to mention, they had Tiffany, who was said to be born a few months before their official union in 1993.

After the divorce became official, Marla Maples stated that she and Donald Trump were "never a match." Also, the former model claimed that their marriage was "built on an illusion."

She further shared that, before tying the knot, she thought she could change him. However, she believed that he is "ego-driven" and that his "drug is attention."

In the same interview, Tiffany's mother also said that she is "happy" to be far away from the now-President of the United States. Accordingly, many are convinced that they ended their ties in not a good way.

Vanity Fair, recently, published the details of Marla Maples and Donald Trump's prenup agreement. As per the publication, the document was acquired from a source.

Based on the record, it was revealed that he wanted to protect his money so much. Some experts even claimed that Donald was "wary" after losing a huge amount to his first wife, Ivana Trump, after the divorce.

Marla Maples reportedly wanted $25 million. However, her former husband only agreed to pay her $1 million if they separate within five years, and another million for her to buy a house.

The prenup agreement also revealed that Marla is not allowed to write anything, including memoirs, articles, essays, books, or any of the like about their marriage. "He was leaving nothing to chance," an expert claimed.
