NCIS: Los Angeles season 11 episode 14 is not coming in the next few weeks. So, fans need to wait for a while. The series will be off the air on CBS because of the NFC Championship Game and other award shows, like the Grammys and the Oscars.
According to CarterMatt, NCIS: Los Angeles season 11 episode 14 will not be airing this January and will be available on Sunday, February 16, instead. As for what viewers can expect in this episode, the series will likely feature Callen's storyline, considering that writers were likely setting up something big with Anna.
NCIS: Los Angeles season 11 episode 14 will also see Deeks and Kensi doing everything they can to plan for their future. These two wanted to start their own family, but they also need to consider their professional and personal lives. As for Sam, he is preparing himself for the future of the NCIS field office.
Meanwhile, Hetty's future in the series is still in question at the moment. But, then, her departure is something that would happen at some point. In episode 11, the agents talked about the possibility of Hetty retiring from the agency.
Kensi asked if Hetty is going to retire from the NCIS and Sam answered she'll have to retire eventually. Then, Kensi pointed out that Hetty has been coming in late and leaving early, and also working from home more.
That particular scene has already hinted at the character's eventual retirement from the series. Furthermore, Linda Hunt, who plays Hetty, is turning 75-year-old this coming April. So, it wouldn't be a surprise if she's indeed leaving the NCIS universe.
This isn't the first time Hunt exists from the show. In 2018, Hunt also took a leave of absence after being injured due to a car accident. Back in November, TVLine reported the actress was taking time away from the series to recover following the accident.
Also, in an interview in 2013 with CBS Sunday Morning host Lee Cowan, Hunt said she doesn't mind leaving the series. She revealed that it's something that she would welcome with open arms, adding: "I look forward to a time when I don't have to work anymore."
Meanwhile, when NCIS: Los Angeles season 11 episode 14 returns, it will be paired with NCIS: New Orleans in its new timeslot every Sunday at 10 PM Eastern time. The upcoming episode, titled "Alsiyadun," is directed by Dennis Smith and written by showrunner R. Scott Gemmill.
