Kate Middleton is reportedly hurt by Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's decision to change their roles in the royal family. Allegedly, the Duchess of Cambridge also hates seeing her husband, Prince William, so upset by what his brother and his wife decided on.

Sources told Us Weekly that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's plans, including dividing their time to live in Canada, have affected Kate as much as Prince William. She was one of the people closest to Prince Harry, who used to lean on Prince William and Kate when he was feeling low or going through some problems.

Despite feeling upset, however, the source also said that the Duchess of Cambridge continues to urge Prince William and Prince Harry to patch up their differences. Only, the brothers appear to be very stubborn as no one wants to make the first move.

Kate was not asked to join crisis talks in Sandringham with Prince Harry, Prince William, Prince Charles and Queen Elizabeth. According to People, only royal family members born into the family were asked to be there. Thus, even Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, was also not around. However, the princes and the Queen each had their private secretaries during the meeting.

Reports initially revealed that Meghan was supposed to join via a teleconference call from Canada since the crisis talks involved her as well. However, the senior royals apparently decided against this as someone else could be listening from the other end of the line.

As the crisis talks were taking place in Sandringham, Kate was seen driving her car and leaving Kensington Palace for the regular school run for Prince George and Princess Charlotte. It is believed that she will stay in London to watch over the children while waiting for Prince William to come back from Anmer Hall, their country home in Norfolk.

Meanwhile, despite the royal family drama, Kate will keep it business as usual as she attends to her royal duties. She and Prince William are due to visit Bradford in West York this week to see through some community initiatives.

The Duchess of Cambridge recently celebrated her 38th birthday by working. Earlier in the week, she and Prince William hosted an intimate birthday get together with some of their closest friends. They heard mass at Sandringham, while Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip reportedly joined the birthday celebration in Anmer Hall.
