Kate Middle and Meghan Markle have long been rumored not to be close. But a new report now claims that things between the Duchesses may have reached its boiling point as the pair has allegedly not communicated in six long months.
According to The Sunday People, Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle have stopped communicating on their family WhatsApp group six months ago. Also, Prince William and Prince Harry became less close than they were before.
“I’ve put my arm around my brother all our lives and I can’t do that anymore… I’m sad about that,” the Duke of Cambridge allegedly told a friend. “All we can do, and all I can do, is try and support them and hope that the time comes when we’re all singing from the same page.”
In the documentary Harry and Meghan: An African Journey, Prince Harry addressed all the rumors about his and Prince William’s alleged fallout. When he was asked about his rumored rift with his brother, the Duke of Sussex replied, “we don’t see each other as much as we used to because we’re so busy. But I love him dearly and the majority of the stuff is created out of nothing. But as brothers, you have good days, you have bad days.”
Before Meghan Markle joined the royal family, Prince William, Kate Middleton, and Prince Harry were known as the royal trio. The young royals share an extremely close bond, and they are often seen at royal engagements sharing a good laugh. When the former actress became a part of the mix, their trio became the royal fab four.
While the Cambridges and Sussexes worked well at first, their bond slowly became different. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle removed themselves from their joint foundation with Prince William and Kate Middleton, seemingly confirming their feud.
As expected, fans who love the relationship between Prince William and Prince Harry needed to blame someone for the fallout. Since the rift started when Meghan Markle joined the royal family, she was the most natural target.
A lot of royal fans believe that Meghan Markle should exert some effort into fitting in with the royal family and not the other way around. Some thought that the reason why the Duchess of Sussex is having a hard time building a relationship with the other members of the royal family is that she didn’t have a relationship with her own family.
