BLACKPINK's Jennie celebrated her 23rd birthday on Thursday. The K-pop singer's fans also paid tribute to her by highlighting on social media her achievements in the past years.

Jennie shared on personal Instagram account a couple of photos of her along with her birthday cake and the singer's 23.6 million followers can't help it but swooned at her adorable snaps. Her fans also trended on Twitter the hashtag #AngelJennieDay to celebrate Jennie's special day.

Meanwhile, Jennie will also be featured in the upcoming February issue of W Korea Magazine. The magazine dropped the cover of the issue and it showed a stunning close-up photo of the K-pop female idol.

Prior to her birthday, Jennie has been bestowed the Best Female ACE of The Year award from China's KPOPstarz Awards. The "SOLO" singer emerged as the top worldwide ace K-pop female member among other contenders, including fellow BLACKPINK member Lisa, TWICE's Nayeon, and Momo, Red Velvet's Seulgi, and MAMAMOO's Hwasa and Moonbyul.

Jennie is the first member of BLACKPINK who joined YG Entertainment as a trainee. She initially auditioned as a vocalist. However, YG thought she could be the rapper of the new group the agency is forming since she was the only trainee who can speak English fluently. Jennie lived in Auckland, New Zealand for five years.

After training for almost six years, Jennie debuted as a member of BLACKPINK along with Jisoo, Rosé, and Lisa, in August 2016 with their debut single album, Square One. The group's main rapper and vocalist has been known as "the YG princess" because of years with the label.

Jennie is not only fluent in the English language, but she can also speak Korean and Japanese well. She can also play the piano and flute.

Aside from her achievements as a member of BLACKPINK, Jennie made a name on her own. So far, she is the only member of the group who has released a solo single.

Jennie debuted as a soloist in November 2018 with her song, "SOLO." The track achieved an all-kill when it topped the real-time charts of major music sites for 15 consecutive days.

"SOLO" debuted at No. 1 on South Korea's Gaon Music Charts and also won the triple crown for topping the digital and download charts as well as the streaming charts. Overseas, "SOLO" topped Billboard's World Digital Songs chart upon its release.

Moreover, the music video of Jennie's first solo song became the most viewed MV by a female Korean solo artist of all time in the first 24 hours of release. She was also crowned the first and only female Korean solo artist to surpass 300 million YouTube views within six months. Jennie's "SOLO" recently won the Digital Bonsang award at the 34th Golden Disc Awards.

Jennie is not only a talented singer, but she also commands influence and power. She is constantly among the top K-pop group member on brand reputation rankings. In 2018, her IG account was named as the Most Loved Account in South Korea.

Forbes Magazine also acknowledged Jennie's contribution to Korea's beauty trends and one of the reasons why her group topped Forbes Korea Power Celebrity in 2019. Last year, she ranked first in the Top 50 Google Worldwide Most Searched K-pop Female Idol in the search engine's mid-year chart.
