The mother of Meghan Markle has finally opened up about her daughter. Doria Ragland is ever supportive of the Duchess of Sussex amid her transition into a new role in the royal family with Prince Harry.

Sources close to Ragland apparently told People that Doria is confident Meghan will be fine after everything. The source was quoted as saying that Meghan "is strong and will always be okay."

Meghan's mother was with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex during the holidays. Prince Harry and Meghan spent a six-week holiday break away from London and flew to North America with baby Archie to visit and spend the season with Doria.

After the New Year celebrations, Prince Harry and Meghan returned to London. But then the duchess had to fly out of the U.K. three days later. She needed to return to Canada, where she left her baby with Doria and her best friend, Jessica Mulroney.

The timing of Meghan's return to the North American region came when she and Prince Harry made a public statement that they will be stepping back as senior members of the royal family. They also said that they want to live half their time in this region away from the U.K.

Doria has a very close relationship with Meghan. The source said that Prince Harry also gets along with his mother-in-law quite well. But while Prince Harry and Meghan plan to live in Canada during their hiatus from London, Doria is based in Los Angeles.

According to Daily Mail, the duchess' mother has been back in Los Angeles a few days after Meghan flew into Canada. Doria was spotted doing her usual routines in the neighborhood, like walking her dog.

Meanwhile, Meghan was recently seen going to the Vancouver airport to fetch her friend and Pilates guru Heather Dorak. According to Hello! The Duchess of Sussex was on the driver's seat of a green Land Rover while her bodyguard sat on the passenger seat, while they waited for Heather to arrive.

Dorak will reportedly stay at the Sussex's temporary home in the island. The two have a very close friendship since Meghan's days in her hometown of Los Angeles.

Over the holidays, other friends of Meghan were also spotted visiting their rented home in Victoria, in the British Columbia region. They were seen going on a hike with actresses Abigail Spencer and Janina Gavankar at the Horth Hill Regional Park.
