Most people say that Prince George, the third in line to the British throne, is the spitting image of his father, Prince William, the Duke of Cambridge. In a recent royal outing, however, even the dad was so shocked to see that his daughter, Princess Charlotte, actually looks more like him.
Prince William's surprise was caught on camera as he and Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge, recently visited various community initiatives in Bradford. While there, the locals presented the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge a fabulous cake display of the icing creations of their most important milestones.
But the prince did a double-take when he saw his childhood photo in one of the cake displays. He asked the baker if the image was Princess Charlotte, but everyone who saw it, including the woman who made it, said that it's him as a little boy.
Prince William then turned to Kate, who agreed that he does look like his daughter as a little boy. The Duke of Cambridge was quite impressed. He told the baker that he hasn't seen the photo before and that they were able to capture the similarities.
The duke also told the baker they did so well for something hard to do. He said that iconic culinary expert Mary Berry would be very proud of them. Hello! has the video of the actual exchange and Prince William's surprised reaction.
As a father, Prince William is very devoted to his three children. He participates in school runs and escorts the kids for their playdates, on top of his work as a royal groomed to be the future king.
Prince William said that fatherhood had given him the maturity. He used to be an emotional young man, but that changed when he had children.
He said in the documentary When Ant and Dec Met The Prince: 40 Years of the Prince's Trust that he used to be anxious and so wounded up about things. Now, he doesn't let a lot of nonsense bother him anymore because if he's too affected, then the ones around him are affected, especially his children.
Meanwhile, the Duchess of Cambridge said that it doesn't look like Prince William is eager to add to their brood of three. Amid reports that Kate could be expecting this year, she said that her husband no longer wants a fourth child. Prince William and Kate have three kids -- Prince George, 6, Princess Charlotte, 4, and Prince Louis, who will be turning two in April.
