Kate Middleton made a huge impact on one young royal fan during her visit to Bradford with Prince William. The Duchess of Cambridge gave this fan a tight hug, which rarely happens in public with the royals.

According to Daily Express, the little boy was waiting in the crowd with his mother knowing that Prince William and Kate would be visiting their community. The boy and his mother both wished that they would get a chance to speak to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.

To their surprise, Kate actually approached the boy and his mom. According to People, the duchess started talking to the young fan, touched his arm and held his hands. Then she gave him a big tight hug even as there was a barricade between them.

Eyewitnesses told People that Kate complimented the young fan's camo patterned jacket. She said that Prince George would love his jacket, too. The duchess then thanked the boy for waiting in line to come to see them.

Meanwhile, inside the Bradford Khidmat Centre, Kate was seen cuddling and bobbing her head with a toddler. The royals were there to talk to the local parents and join in the music session with their kids.

According to Daily Mail, the duchess was heard telling one of the parents that she doesn't think Prince William wants another baby. However, she proved she had such an amazing mother instinct as she developed an instant rapport with the baby.

Prince William and Kate also visited the City Hall to talk to the community volunteers and listened to the projects they have lined up. Prince William was heard telling one of the leaders that looking after their physical health and getting fit is great. He reminded them, however, that they also have to think about their mental fitness.

The Bradford visit was the first royal outing for Prince William and Kate after the crisis talks in Sandringham involving Prince Harry and Meghan's step down from the royal family. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were met with rousing applause on the grounds of Bradford City Hall.

According to Page Six, hundreds of fans were lined up to excitedly cheer the Cambridges and wave the U.K. flag. At one point, the cheers got too loud that Prince William joked to a group of women they were the noisy corner. The ladies squealed even louder.
