The K-pop world is known for shipping two group members who fans see as having a special relationship. These ships don’t need to be romantic at all, they are usually made when fans see a cute or sweet bond between members.

One of the ships in BTS is called SOPE, which consists of Suga and J-Hope. What made this ship different from the rest is the fact that Suga himself was the one who created it instead of the fans.

Now, SOPE stans may be blessed with a sweet moment from Suga and J-Hope in their upcoming performance in The Late Late Show with James Corden. BTS is set to perform their latest single “Black Swan” for the first time ever on the CBS American late-night television talk and variety comedy show.

Since the “Black Swan” music video featured the dance troupe from the MN Dance Company from Slovenia and not RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook, ARMYs have no idea what to expect. And because the song is not as upbeat as their other ones, there’s a high chance that BTS’ choreography will be more intimate and emotional.

On January 20, BTS posted the first-ever rehearsal photos from “Black Swan” on Instagram. One of the snaps showed Suga holding someone’s hand. (Check out the photo here).

Since it was meant as a solo picture, the face of the person that the rapper was holding on was not on the frame. But, because Jimin was behind Suga, he is out as a potential partner. This leaves five members to choose from and J-Hope is the best choice.

Suga and J-Hope are both from the “Rap Line” and one of them usually sings after the other. In fact, they have one of the best transitions in BTS and “Black Swan” is no different.

If you have listened to “Black Swan,” then, you already know that Suga and J-Hope have an epic transition in the second stanza. Their voices seamlessly intertwined that ARMYs couldn’t help but be in awe with their perfect transition.

While J-Hope appears to be the best bet as the person that Suga will be holding hands with in BTS “Black Swan” choreography, there is still the possibility that it would be RM if the snap was taken during the very beginning of the song. Also, the other three members — Jin, V, and Jungkook — are still potential candidates.

BTS is set for an interview and performance on The Late Late Show with James Corden on Jan. 28.
