Criminal Minds season 15 episode 6 and 7 are both arriving on CBS next week. The series is nearing its ending, but that doesn't mean it would slow down when it comes to delivering some exciting stuff. Here's what we can expect in these episodes when they both air next week.

Since it's the final season, the series is running through the episodes. Just like the premiere, Criminal Minds season 15 episode 6 and 7 are coming up together. Episode 6, titled "Date Night," sees someone connected to Spencer Reid comes back.

In the synopsis, a father and a daughter have been kidnapped. The team works together to get them home safe, but an old foe returns to torment Reid and has very specific demands. The synopsis also hinted the episode would give the phrase "wheels up" a whole new meaning.

It seems like this old foe is Cat Adams, also known as Miss .45 and The Black Widow Killer. The character first arrived in season 11; she is a proxy killer, hitwoman, and a psychopath. She planned to destroy Reid after being caught.

Adams returns is season 12 to seek revenge, but was defeated again. However, she kidnapped Reid's mother and made him almost insane, which means she could manipulate him again this time. But then it's yet to be confirmed whether the old foe is, indeed, Adams.

Meanwhile, episode 7, titled "Rusty," sees the team going back to Denver to investigate some murders. It's uncertain whether or not this is connected to episode 6, though it seems likely considering the nature of the series. Furthermore, Emily Prentiss will be the center of episode 7.

She's facing personal struggles and needs to sort things out. Prentiss is forced to evaluate her feelings and relationship with Special Agent Andrew Mendoza. The two have undeniable chemistry and it's exciting to see Prentiss' personal life being explored.

After Criminal Minds season 15 episode 6 and 7, there are only two more weeks for the series. A single episode will air on Feb. 12, while two episodes are coming on Feb. 19 to wrap the series up. Fans expect the series will tie all the loose ends throughout the series' run.

Criminal Minds season 15 episode 6 and 7 will air on Wednesday, Feb. 5, at 9 P.M. and 10 P.M., respectively.
