After Meghan Markle and Prince Harry announced that they are "stepping down" as senior members of the British Royal Family, the focus of the media and the public seemingly shifted toward the future King and Queen Consort.
It was noted that the royal duties and responsibilities left by the Sussex couple have been passed on and added to Prince William and Kate Middleton's works. Because of this, many individuals believed that this has put a lot of "stress" and inconvenience on the Cambridges.
Previous reports even shared that the couple has been "in panic" because of the added responsibilities. However, sources today just revealed that this is far from the truth.
According to Us Weekly, an insider attested that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's "hectic schedules" have brought them much "closer" to each other. "At times like this," Prince William and Kate Middleton reportedly support each other and work "as a team." As a result, this has benefited their marriage, the source added.
It was also noted that the royal couple "showed" a "rare display of affection" during their most recent royal engagement in Swansea, Wales. As seen on photos, the Duchess of Cambridge placed her hand on her husband's arm and smiled at each other.
The reports then explained that this is already considered a "rare PDA" for the royals, especially on the future King and Queen Consort's parts, as they are expected to be "reserved" when in public. Accordingly, Kate placing her hand on the royal-born Prince's arm is a very huge deal, particularly for the avid fans and supporters of the Cambridges.
In a similar report released by Cosmopolitan, it was stated that this is a huge comeback for Prince William and Kate Middleton from the unpleasant controversies that they faced a few months ago. As recalled, the couple made it to the headlines of various publications because of the alleged infidelity of the Duke.
The rumored cheating scandal was then followed by the allegation that the Duchess "shrugged off" her husband's touch during a segment that they did for a Christmas TV special.
