There is little doubt that people are already looking forward to Black Widow since it is set to be the final Marvel Cinematic Universe flick featuring Scarlett Johansson as Natasha Romanoff. But is it possible that Marvel Studios isn't quite ready to let go of the Academy Award nominee just yet? There are speculations that Johansson is still expected to return as Natasha in yet another MCU film. Interestingly, this particular movie could bring more than just Nat back from the dead.

The death of Natasha Romanoff was undoubtedly one of the most emotional moments in Avengers: Endgame. After realizing that one of them would have to sacrifice themselves in order to obtain the Soul Stone, Nat threw herself off the cliff so Clint Barton can survive and see his family again. It was a heartbreaking moment that had fans hoping Scarlett Johansson's character will be brought back once the effects of Thanos' snap were reversed. Unfortunately, it was explained that Nat's death cannot be undone since it happened after the snap.

But is it possible that there is one character who could make Natasha Romanoff's resurrection happen? There have been speculations that Scarlet Witch will manipulate reality in the upcoming Disney+ series WandaVision. In the show, Wanda Maximoff could use her powers to bring back Vision as well as her brother Pietr Maximoff aka Quicksilver. Interestingly, the other character she might resurrect could be Natasha.

The possibility of Natasha Romanoff being resurrected after Black Widow might not be a welcome idea for most fans who feel like it would mean that her sacrifice in Avengers: Endgame meant nothing. But what about introducing a Natasha from a completely different universe? A report suggests that Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness will find new universes where characters who were killed are still very much alive. With that in mind, there is a chance that a new version of Scarlett Johansson's character will show up in the MCU film.

This is an interesting idea for fans who are hoping to see more of Scarlett Johansson in the future. However, it is important to point out that this is only based on theory and has not yet been confirmed by Marvel Studios. It is best to take it with a grain of salt, at least for now until an official announcement is made.

Scarlett Johansson will return in Black Widow, which is scheduled for release on May 1.
