The Flash season 6 episode 13 is scheduled to arrive next week on The CW, with the title "Grodd Friended Me." The title alone suggests that one of the most iconic villains in the show is back: the Gorilla Grodd. However, things might be different this time as the episode will see him and Barry possibly teaming up to defeat another villain.

In The Flash season 6 episode 13, Barry felt overwhelmed because of the changes since Crisis, so he conducted an experiment. However, the procedure goes wrong and it puts him directly into the path of the Gorilla Grodd. Barry expects the worst, but he's surprised when Grodd asked for his help. But then, things get even worse for them as another villain appears: Solovar.

So, are Barry and Grodd teaming up to defeat Solovar in the upcoming episode? While the two may indeed team up, that doesn't necessarily mean Barry can totally trust Grodd. Their relationship is a bit complicated, considering that they are in some unusual circumstances. The two may end up wanting the same thing -- defeating Solovar.

The Flash season 6 episode 13 will also see Iris working with Eva to escape the Mirrorverse. It's interesting to see how Iris and Eva will work, especially since there are speculations the latter might be the latest iteration of the Mirror Master. Possibly, there's something a little more lasting with this story, as Eva is a character that may stick in the show for a while.

In a report via TVLine, showrunner Eric Wallace revealed he challenged the writing team to come up with a "craziest Flash story ever." He then noted that because of the fast-paced nature of this season, viewers will immediately see Iris and her adventures in the Mirrorverse. The showrunner also revealed the series is doing a new take on the Mirror Master: the incarnation of Evan McCulloch.

Meanwhile, beyond this episode, viewers will also see Wally West a.k.a. Kid Flash returning to the Central City. This time around, he has a different outlook in his life and discovered what he really wants. However, he came back because of a different reason. He told Barry that something's possibly wrong with the Speed Force.

The Flash season 6 episode 13 arrives on Tuesday, Feb. 25, on The CW. The episode is directed by Stefan Pleszczynski and written by Joshua V. Gilbert and Kristen Kim.
