Billie Eilish has become a lot more popular these days. The 18-year-old artist has been winning awards since she topped charts in previous years. But, it is only recently that she was able to "sweep" the Grammys.

While it has been a very successful run for the young singer, she recently revealed that it has taken a toll on her mental health. It is worth noting that she has been struggling for many years now and even previously admitted to "harming" herself due to depression.

According to the New York Post, Billie Eilish "confessed" her emotions on stage during the BRIT Awards. Upon calling her name as she won the Best International Female Solo Artist award, she went up the stage to receive the award from Melania Chisholm of the Spice Girls.

In her speech, she went emotional upon revealing that she has felt even more "hated" recently. But, the artist noted that seeing the audience all smiling at her for her new achievement "genuinely" made her want to cry.

She then went on to say that she is going to cry now and ended up with teary eyes while thanking everyone. Mel-C and Billie Eilish hugged each other afterward as seen on the clips of the event.

In an interview with BBC Breakfast ahead of the BRIT Awards, the young singer shared that she "had to stop" reading comments on her Instagram account. She explained that she did this "for the sake of her mental health." It is "ruining my life," she added.

Billie then continued to reveal that the "cooler" the things she gets to do, the more people seemingly hate her. It is actually "crazy," the singer described.

Billie Eilish's revelations during the interview come after the overwhelming "sweep" she had during the Grammys last January. As it happened, she made history when she was named as the youngest artist to win the Album of The Year for her debut When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? album.

It was noted by the reports that Taylor Swift was the one who holds the title for a decade after winning the same award in 2010. The Lover singer bagged the award for her Fearless album when she was just 20-years-old.

After the revelations made by Billie Eilish, several headlines claimed that many celebrities became "concerned" of her, especially Justin Bieber. It was said that the Sorry singer wants to "protect her" and hopes that she would not "lose it." I don't want her to experience the things "I went through," he added.
