Prince William is the second person in line to the throne. Next to Prince Charles, he will soon ascend and become the King of England.

In recent years, the public has seen how his duties and responsibilities have become more expanded. Alongside his wife, Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge, he is a very popular member of the British Royal Family.

With this at hand, it is not surprising why several shows and films largely take these royals as the center of their narrative. But, among all these acts in recent times, Netflix's The Crown has become one of the most binge-worthy materials available in terms of learning more about the Royal Family.

According to Hello! magazine, Prince William's character will seemingly make an appearance on the upcoming installment of the popular show. While it was previously claimed that the series will not reach the modern-day royals, recent photos just emerged showing a young actor who resembles the appearance of the Duke of Cambridge. Along with him is Emma Corrin, who was revealed to play the role of the late Princess Diana in the new season.

It made total sense, though, considering that The Crown Season 3 ended with Prince Charles and Camilla Shand's breakup. It is worth noting that this is from the perspective of the young Charles' arc.

The series' actual finale during the third installment focused on Princess Margaret and Queen Elizabeth II in 1977. The plot concluded exactly in June of the said year as per The Oprah Magazine.

It was then noted that Prince Charles and Diana Spencer first met in November of the same year. It is likely that the start of their relationship will be largely highlighted on Season 4. Accordingly, seeing the young Prince William on set is just fitting as he was born in 1982.

Based on the photo that recently emerged showing the characters of Princess Diana and the young Prince William, it seemingly appears that the scene is portraying a recreation of an Easter egg hunt in Buckingham Palace in 1984. As the young prince holds a basket, Emma Corrin is seen with a "prosthetic bump" to show a pregnant Princess of Wales.

The reports noted that Prince Harry was born in the same year. So, there are also speculations that the youngest son of Prince Charles will also make an appearance on the next installments of the series.

The Crown Season 4 will reportedly arrive in November this year on Netflix.
