Prince Harry and Meghan Markle finally released the details of the Megxit deal that were internally discussed in January. In their official website, Sussex Royal, the couple shared the core details of their exit and the process of transition that will officially start in Spring 2020.

According to Harper's Bazaar, the post, while official, it sounded "emotional" as they described the whole process as "saddening." It was stated in the post that they have been "actively involved" with the process, along with the senior members of the Royal Family, to finalize the deals of their imminent exit.

As cleared out in the post, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry will remain essential and "valued part" of Queen Elizabeth II's family. However, they will cease to use their "HRH" prefix despite retaining them. The reason being is that they will no longer be "working royals."

Even so, it was stated in the same post that the Duke of Sussex, being the grandson of the Queen and second-son of the Heir Apparent, he will remain the sixth person in line to the throne. It was noted that the Order of Precedence will remain unchanged.

In addition to this, he will retain his honorary ranks of Major, Lieutenant Commander, and Squadron Leader. Although they will not be in use during the transition, it was said that there will be "no new appointments" that will happen to "fill these roles."

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry will still require security given the risks of being members of the Royal Family. However, it was not thoroughly discussed as the details were said to be sensitive.

The whole transition process will undergo a 12-month review as per Elle. In this period, the Sussex couple will be given the freedom to earn their income as they can no longer draw from the Sovereign Grant.

The same publication shared that this is basically what they were looking for. In fact, since their announcement, sources revealed that they have been living a private and "low-key" life in their Vancouver Island home.

Nevertheless, it was still emphasized that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have been working closely to establish a new non-profit organization. However, the couple's statements reportedly detailed out that they are not "planning" to start a "new foundation.

In this organization of theirs, it was revealed that they are no longer using the Sussex Royal brand due to the term "royal." The post, however, noted that the new name that they will be using will be further revealed in due course.
