Princess Beatrice is including her stepson in her royal wedding ceremony on May 29. Fiancé Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi's boy, born in 2016 to his ex-girlfriend Asian-American architect and designer Dara Huang, will be a very special pageboy on his father's wedding day.

Friends of Princess Beatrice revealed to People that Edo's son, Wolfie, has been very much a part of their lives from the beginning of their romance. The royal, apparently, embraces the boy in her life even as he is not biologically her child.

Princess Beatrice, Edo and Wolfie have been on many vacations together. The little boy travels back and forth to Hong Kong, where his mother, a famous designer, is partly-based.

Edo and Huang have a joint custody over their son. After Princess Beatrice and Edo announced their engagement last September 2019, Huang released a statement to say that she looks forward to "uniting" their families.

Huang was engaged to Edo for close to three and a half years. Apparently, they were separated for more than six months when Edo started dating Princess Beatrice.

Princess Beatrice and Edo's family have been friends since they were little kids. The royal actually attended the funeral of Edo's stepfather, Christopher Shale, with Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson in 2011.

The York princess, however, was formally introduced by common friends to Edo in 2018 and years after her breakup with her ex-fiancé of 10 years, Dave Clark. From there, the pair hit it off and started dating.

In March 2019, Princess Beatrice and Edo made their relationship public while visiting the National Portrait Gallery gala with the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince William and Kate. They were also at the wedding of Princess Beatrice's cousin Lady Gabriella Windsor in May 2019. Princess Beatrice introduced Edo to her parents around the same time.

Huang's mom, however, told Daily Mail that she didn't know her daughter broke up with Edo as they were still living in the same house. Sources said that Huang took a while to move out as she was still looking for an apartment.

However, the sources also said that Princess Beatrice got involved with Edo when he was already single. A palace aide said that it's not Princess Beatrice's style to break a couple's union, especially if there was a child involved.

Meanwhile, tollowing the ceremony at The Chapel in St. James's Palace, Princess Beatrice and Edo will have their wedding reception at the Buckingham Palace Gardens courtesy of Queen Elizabeth.
