BLINKs are furious over the news of another possible delay for BLACKPINK's March comeback and YG Entertainment's plans to launch another girl group within the year.

According to reports, BLINKs, the official fandom of BLACKPINK are up in arms over YG's plans to launch another girl group called Baby Monsters or BAEMON. YG is reportedly eyeing the debut of the new girl group in the middle of the year. If plans materialize, BAEMON will be YG's third girl group next only to 2NE1 and BLACKPINK.

Fans expressed their sentiments online and complained about YG has been mistreating BLACKPINK in previous years by only limiting Jennie, Lisa, Jisoo, and Rose to one comeback a year compared to other idol groups who have two or three comebacks a year. While last year proved to be a successful year for BLACKPINK with their international Your Area World Tour, BLINKs were dissatisfied over the limited promotions locally resulting in a disconnect for BLACKPINK and Korean fans.

BLINKs have also previously sounded off on the delayed release of Lisa, Jisoo and Rose's solo debuts which YG promised to come out last year.BLINKs called out YG for attempting to launch another girl group when it is not doing a good job promoting the BLACKPINK. They said that the divided attention of the label will further result in more troubles for Jennie, Jisoo, Lisa, and Rose.

Adding to the issues that BLACKPINK's comeback is facing is the global threat for the dreaded Coronavirus or COVID-19. According to recent reports, there is a strong possibility that the March comeback could be delayed due to health concerns presented by the prevalence of the virus which will hinder promotional events.Apart from promotional challenges such as fan signs, concerts, music show appearances, and other performance schedules, shipment may also be delayed due to more stringent processing of goods that are imported and exported in Korea.

It can be recalled that several areas of South Korea have been classified as special care zones due to the alarming level of Coronavirus cases confirmed in the areas.

While BLINKs generally agreed that the health and safety of BLACKPINK members should be the priority, they still expressed frustration over YG's vague statements over BLACKPINK's plans this year since all of the label's previous announcements have not materialized. In related news, BLACKPINK will be releasing a 2020 Welcoming Collection as well as a special doll collection in partnership with Jazwares.
