The 10-month-old son of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle is starting to learn how to walk. The elated mother apparently shared this bit about Archie Harrison to one of the girls she met during a visit to a local school.

According to Daily Mail, Dagenham local Geraldine Dear was in the audience when the Duchess of Sussex visited the Robert Clack Upper School for the International Women's Day celebration. Dear was part of the group who fought for women's equal pay 50 years ago.

Dear had the opportunity to personally talk to Meghan so she asked about Archie. The Duchess of Sussex replied that her son is trying to walk after turning 10 months old on March 6. Meghan also revealed to one of the guests that her baby changed her life. Her son is her first child with Prince Harry.

The Duchess of Sussex spoke some empowering words during the event. She told the young students, both boys and girls, to speak up for what is right. She said that they have a voice, regardless of their age, race or gender. She also encouraged the boys in the audience to protect and value the women in their lives every day.

A day before her visit to Dagenham, Meghan was at the Endeavour Fund Awards with Prince Harry. She also talked to one of the guests, Claire Spence, about Archie and shared that the boy is starting to explore. The duchess said that Archie is "into everything."

Prince Harry and Meghan did not bring Archie back to the U.K. for their final rounds of engagements. Their choice received criticisms from some members of the media who claimed that Queen Elizabeth will be disappointed about not seeing her great-grandson.

However, Today correspondent Kier Simmons said that it's unlikely Queen Elizabeth is complaining that she will not be able to see Archie since Her Majesty is not into babies. Prince Harry and Meghan will also be working for the most part thus it's only logical that they won't be bringing Archie to a work trip.

It is alleged that Queen Elizabeth has not seen Archie since the Sussex family left for Canada in November 2019. There have also been speculations that Prince Harry and Meghan are being wary over Archie's safety and health since the coronavirus scare so they have decided not to fly the baby with them.

Meanwhile, a nanny, who has been with the Sussexes since August, is making sure that Archie is fine in Vancouver. Meghan's best friend Jessica Mulroney is also said to be checking up on her son.
