Prince William apparently told his wife, Kate Middleton, that he felt "weird" during the Commonwealth Day reunion with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. A lip reader and a body language expert shared their insights about the Duke of Cambridge's demeanor during the service at Westminster Abbey on March 9.

In a panel on This Morning, royal expert Camilla Tominey said that a lip reader learned Prince William felt weird not so much because of his brother and sister-in-law but because they were told not to shake hands with the public. The Duke of Cambridge apparently told his wife that they have to "put loads of hand gel" after the event.

Prince William was said to have uttered to Kate that he isn't used to this new protocol. Public health concerns have been raised all over the world amid the coronavirus outbreak.

The Duke of Cambridge reportedly told Kate that the new protocol for the royal family "feels weird" since they often shake hands with the people they meet. Despite his weirdness, Prince William heeded to the advice.

During the lineup with the guests, Prince William told those he had to meet that they could not shake hands. Like the rest of the royal family, Prince William did keep his hands close to his sides or simply waved and nodded at the guests.

The lip-reader, on the other hand, also said that Prince Harry told his wife that someone said just two words to him. However, the Duke of Sussex might not be referring to his older brother as the royal family also met with other dignitaries and VIPs.

Meanwhile, a body language expert said that Prince William was trying to hold his anger down during the reunion. Patti Wood told Marie Claire that Prince William's actions that day suggested the was comforting and suppressing his emotional state.

Prince William's hands were in a fist as he sat to listen to the service. He was also pursing his lips and furrowing his brows. As for the Duchess of Cambridge, Wood said that Kate presented some sadness in her eyes.

The body language expert also said that Prince Harry looked tired. It was as if he just came from the battle front and was feeling a bit dizzy.

However, another body language expert said that she saw tension and awkwardness in Prince Harry and Meghan, who sat in the row behind Prince William and Kate. The Cambridges, however, appeared to have no tension whatsoever.
