Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge is going to be surrounded by ambitious mothers as her children -- Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis -- are growing up. These mothers are going to target Prince William's wife to be close to her because they want their own kids to be best friends with the Cambridge children.

Royal experts Zoe Burrell and Angela Mollard discussed this scenario during a Royals podcast. Mollard said that the Cambridges are in the mix with the "wealthy people of London" since the children are attending a very expensive school.

Mollard said that mothers in this wealthy community of middle class and upperclass families will be trying to position their kids to be best friends with George, Charlotte and Louis. Essentially, these mothers will also be aiming for their children to be Prince George's best man, as the third in line to the throne.

However, Mollard praised Kate and Prince William for doing a great job of raising their children to have "their feet very firmly on the ground." She said that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are terrific at embracing their royal life but they still try to give the children some sense of normality and regularity.

During the brief term break in January, Prince William and Kate brought their kids to Anmer Hall so that they could enjoy the farm life. Prince William shared that George, Charlotte and Louis went lambing and fed a few animals in their country estate.

Last month, Kate revealed in a Happy Mum Happy Baby podcast interview that she wants her children to experience what regular kids also enjoy, like arts and crafts, cooking in the kitchen, gardening and playing outdoors. She acknowledged that she had a grandmother who instilled the value of these activities because these bring out the quality of the relationship adults have with their children.

In the same podcast, Kate also shared her struggles as a mom. Apart from experiencing difficult pregnancies, due to her extreme morning sickness, Kate also said that she has episodes of mom guilt because she sometime need to do her royal duties instead of spending time with her kids.

Kate even said that any mother who doesn't admit to mom guilt is actually in denial. The Duchess of Cambridge admitted that, like any regular mom, she also questions her decisions and judgements, especially when it relates to her kids.
