Empire season 6 episode 14 will be airing next week on Fox, with the title "I Am Who I Am." The episode will continue exploring Cookie's past and what she's been through before. The secrets that lie deep in Cookie's past has been one of the central parts of this season, in which she also kept from her own sisters.
Some things may change in a substantial way in Empire season 6 episode 14. Within this episode, we're going to see Cookie, Carol, and Candace taking a painful trip down memory lane. They'll reminisce some of the moments they've experienced; shedding light on their childhood, as well as exposing their heartbreaking secrets from the past.
The episode will dive far back into the past to learn more about Cookie's past and what really happened to her during her childhood days. Although her relationship with Lucious defined most of her childhood, it's still important to explore her life beyond that. Possibly, she experienced painful and difficult moments, which defines who she is now.
In the previous episode, Cookie told Lucious everything. She revealed that she went to Carol's place to confront her sister's abusive boyfriend, but it led her to killing the guy. Cookie expected that Carol would be thankful and move on, but she turned to drugs after his boyfriend's death. But even though they had a heart to heart talk, Cookie and Lucious ended up fighting because of Yana.
Meanwhile, as for what else we can expect in Empire season 6 episode 14, Lucious will be using something special from the past so he could help Yana giving her a big break. Maya, on the other hand, comes up with a new scheme to generate more buzz for the "Birth of an Empire" movie. As for Teri, she is becoming more fearful of Andre.
The latter storyline is also worth-exploring in this episode, especially since Teri worried about Andre. There are concerns over his mental health since he's going through a lot as of yet. Things may also get worse rather than getting better. Andre may not be able to handle the pressure, causing Teri to be scared of him. In the previous episode, he tried to stop her from leaving and taking away their baby.
