Empire season 6 episode 13 is set to arrive next week on Fox, with the title "Come Undone." The central focus of this episode is secret, particularly when it comes to Cookie. She's still keeping her secrets from her past and things aren't really going well.
In Empire season 6 episode 13, Cookie continues keeping her secrets from her sisters. However, Lucious thinks that she needs to come clean so she could move forward. This might be difficult for Cookie, especially since she already buried some of her secrets from the past.
She was able to mask some of the traumas she's been through, but these are now haunting her. Hence, Lucious has a point that Cookie needs to come clean in order to move on. Since this is also the series' final run, viewers should expect some twists and turns in Cookie's life, as well as others.
Elsewhere in Empire season 6 episode 13, Treasure couldn't perform at the upcoming showcase. So, Becky suggests that Yana should take the spot, but Lucious thinks she's not yet ready. Also, Giselle is struggling to keep her family secret from Julian, while Maya sets her sights on her own recording deal.
The episode will also see Andre putting Quincy in a very bad situation because of his actions. Andre becomes different, mostly due to Kingsley. The longer he resides in Andy's head, the harder for him to find peace and be calm.
In another report, it was previously confirmed that Jussie Smollett's Jamal Lyon is not coming back in the series' final run. In a report via TVLine, Fox's entertainment head Michael Thorn discussed this matter during the TCA Winter Press Tour.
Thorn said they're not going to bring back Smollett to the show and they consider a number of factors as to why they decided not to bring him back. He said there's a lot of points of view on whether he should come back or not. Yet, they all agreed it's best for the show and cast not to bring Smollett back.
Smollett was written out of the series after being involved in a controversy. This leads to Fox announcing they have no plans to include the actor in the sixth and final installment of the series. His final episode was when Jamal and Kai got married and now living full-time in London.
