However, Terry is related to Luca and this could lead to chaos not only for the SWAT team but also for other reporters. Meanwhile, in the previous episode, a child named Zane was kidnapped and the team believed money was the motive since his father does investment. But upon looking closely, they discovered that a man named Joel was stalking Zane, and Joel became the prime suspect. However, it turns out Joel was in WITSEC and Zane was his son. The team thought it was a case of a father wanting to be reunited with his son.

Things get twisted when the team found out Joel/Quinn used to work as an extremist group called Accord. The group used to be headed by Cassata, who tasked Quinn with creating bombs. Joel turned against the group and gotten them imprisoned. But after getting out, the group kidnapped Zane to lure Joel. In the end, the team managed to deactivate the suicide vest on Zane and saved him.

SWAT season 3 episode 17 arrives on Wednesday night, Mar. 25, on CBS.
