There is little doubt that fans have been anticipating the conclusion of the latest installment of IF Seventeen. After all, the new installment of the show is basically a cooking show that features four members of SEVENTEEN trying to create a delicious burger for Joshua. To make it exciting, three of the idols were not confident with their kitchen skills while the best cook was forced to work with an ingredient he wasn't familiar with. So who emerged as the winner of SEVENTEEN's The Battle of Burgers?

Here's a quick recap of what happened in the previous episodes of IF Seventeen. In SEVENTEEN's The Battle of Burgers, four members were chosen to join the cooking competition. Woozi, Mingyu, Seungkwan and Vernon were tasked with making a burger that would remind fellow SEVENTEEN member Joshua of his childhood. However, they also needed to use a special ingredient assigned to them.

For the competition, Woozi was given beef while Mingyu had to work with squid. Seungkwan was assigned shrimp and Vernon needed to make a chicken burger. Early on, both Mingyu and Seungkwan struggled with their assignment since they also needed to clean and prepare their own squid and shrimp, respectively. Likewise, Woozi and Vernon needed to mince the meat for their burger patty.

Needless to say, everyone struggled with the task. Luckily, Joshua was there to help them along the way. Although Hong Jisoo was supposed to act as the judge of the competition, he also decided to step in and provide useful tips for his dongsaengs. At one point, the lead vocalist even served as the official jar opener when Seungkwan and Vernon were unable to uncap some jars.

So what happened when all the burgers were done? In the final episode of SEVENTEEN's The Battle of Burgers, Joshua quickly came in to taste the finished products. Hong Jisoo chose to try Woozi's 'BBQ fried burger' first before moving to Seungkwan's 'shrimp dip burger'. He then sampled Vernon's 'Ding dong dang' chicken burger before settling on Mingyu's elegant but hilariously named 'Dumbfounded' squid burger.

Interestingly, Joshua didn't comment on any of the burgers while tasting them. However, the truth was soon revealed. Hong Jisoo chose Vernon's chicken burger for third place because the patty was too thin before declaring Woozi's beef burger for second place since it tasted a lot like the burgers he had as a child. Finally, Mingyu's squid burger was chosen for first place while Seungkwan got fourth place.

Not surprisingly, Seungkwan was disappointed to be in last place but Joshua assured him that the burger had an excellent taste. However, Hong Jisoo also pointed out that the taste of the main ingredient was overpowered by too many spices. Nevertheless, Boo Seungkwan was happy that his hyung enjoyed the burger.

What challenges could the idols face next? Tune in next week for the next installment of IF Seventeen.
